You're reading: US State Department: Kerry plans number of bilateral meetings in Geneva on April 17

 U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is planning a meeting with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Deschytsia in Geneva on April 17, U.S. State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said on April 16.

During his visit to Geneva, Kerry will also meet with EU High
Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton
and may hold bilateral talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei
Lavrov.

Kerry was previously reported to have left for Geneva.

Four-party negotiations of the Ukrainian problem with representatives
of the United States, the European Union, Russia, and Ukraine in Geneva
have been scheduled for April 17.
