Washington - US Ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Daniel Baer has urged the Russian authorities to assist unobstructed access of monitors to Crimea, the Wall Street Journal posted on March 9.

Russia says it is not aware of who impedes the free access of the OSCE representatives to Crimea and as the country, which has signed the Vienna document, Russia should urge publicly for ensuring free entry of these inspectors, Baer was quoted as saying.

Monitors have not been allowed to enter Crimea yet again, the OSCE twitted on March 8.

The OSCE verification mission comprising 40 monitors from 21 OSCE countries is in Ukraine on March 5 to March 20.

The program of the mission includes visiting military facilities of the Ukrainian armed forces and Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea.
