Ukraine
has lost the lives of at least 568 servicemen since the beginning of
the war in the east of the country, according to the National Security
and Defense Council. At least  2,120
servicemen have been wounded by Aug. 11, according to the official
data.

Civilian death toll has reached 1,129 people by the end of July,
according to the official count. But reports from the ground suggest
that Ukraine’s army has no way of counting civilian deaths, and are
under no orders to do so. The real civilian death toll can, in fact, be
much higher.

Kyiv Post+ is a special project covering Russia’s war against Ukraine and the aftermath of the EuroMaidan Revolution.
