The problems in Ukraine caused by bad weather should start to ease by Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul has said.

“The situation this Wednesday should not be different from the situation last Wednesday,” he said a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.

Vilkul noted that access to all cut-off towns and villages would be resumed on Monday.

In addition, the de-icing of power lines is currently underway throughout the country.
