The TVi Channel from October 15 disappeared from analogue broadcasting in another four cities of Ukraine, in particular Poltava, Kherson, Simferopol, and Sumy, according to the channel's Web site.

According to the channel’s deputy director for development, Oleksandr Pivniuk, the channel in these cities was disconnected without warning, meaning TVi has lost two-thirds of its subscribers.

He also said that the channel broadcasting in these cities was provided by Volia-Cable.

“Its main argument is changes to the list of programs in the universal program service. This allegedly includes the recent decision of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council. TVi was transferred from analog broadcasting to the basic digital package,” said Pivniuk.
