Yanukovych's record of holding fair elections is a grim one. Everyone expects they will be rigged. Without the participation of jailed oppsoition leaders the international community will conclude the elections were neither free nor fair. BYuT made a blunder by voting for this law which is designed to preserve the status quo.

Tabachnik has decided to cancel the subject of "History of Ukraine"

The Ministry of Education, which is headed by Dmitry Tabachnik , developed a new curriculum for 5-9 classes of high school. Project would reduce the hours of Ukrainian language and literature and the abolition of the subject "History of Ukraine".

As learned the newspaper "Mirror of the Week" , the new lesson plans of the Ukrainian language is only two a week (for comparison, in Russia the study of language in sixth grade school is given six weekly lessons).

In the seventh, eighth and ninth grades also reduced the number of hours to study Ukrainian literature.

Move the horse from Tabachnik

Oksana Onishchenko "Mirror of the week. Ukraine »№ 6, Yesterday, 19:05

First of all, the new curriculum reduced the number of classes of the Ukrainian language. Now they are only two a week. For comparison, in the Russian Federation to study the state of the Russian language in sixth grade school is given six (!) Weekly lessons! Feel the difference?

No more did the authors of the new curriculum and Ukrainian literature. In the seventh, eighth and ninth grades of hours of study is also reduced. Logical, it seems, would do the opposite: given the growing volume and complexity of works for study, allocate more time for discussion in the classroom with the teacher. Incidentally, in the Russian curriculum the same as well, is done.

Which consequences will lead these steps ministry talk too much. Literature - segment culture of people. What kind of self-identity of the nation can say if the younger generation does not know their literature, and so - and culture?

And even worse situation is the history of Ukraine. According to the leadership of the Ministry of Education, the object itself disappears from the general schedule of school lessons (although traditionally taught even in the Soviet Union).

In fifth grade now will have one lesson a week instead of two (thus, the removal of about 34 lessons per year). In the eighth and ninth grades rate reduced by 0.5 hours per week (per year is about 17 lessons). So talk about the equivalent of teaching two stories - the world and home - are the big optimists.

According to informed sources, the corresponding order is signed D.Tabachnyk and officially registered under № 93 of 01.02.2012 year. But while he is on the shelf in the Minister of Education. If so, will soon order the Minister launched in school administration which will have no choice, do not follow instructions. Then change something is impossible. As long as the document is in the ministry - a chance to stop the "reforms". And he Tabachnyk to the publication of the order can always make edits to it.

He estimated that Putin received 10-14 million suspect votes in the 2004 election.

Ordeshook argued that data from the second round of Ukraine's presidential elections in October 2004, which were widely criticized by international observers, demonstrate similar irregularities to those observed in Russia's 2004 election. The irregularities overwhelmingly favored "party of power" candidate Viktor Yanukovych. Ukrainian electoral districts, like Russian districts, were characterized by a division between those with normal voter turnout and those with high turnout. According to Ordeshook, in regions of Southern and Eastern Ukraine, Yanukovych benefited from the "excess" turnout, while Yushchenko benefited to a lesser extent in Western regions. While there were irregularities on both sides, they were on a very different scale. Ordeshook argued that Yushchenko received a maximum of 670,000 suspect votes, while Yanukovych received up to 3.8 million.

He noted further that an inordinately large percentage of votes cast during the last few hours of the election went to Yanukovych, when, it appears, his supporters "panicked because they realized they were going to loose unless they did something about it."

"I want to give you some examples of what just happened in Zhytomyr, Poltava, in the Kiev region and what we should expect in the Lviv region. In the Poltava region of the article, which was condemned by Tymoshenko, a few days ago the chairman of the rural village of convicted Kovalevka Yuri BUBLIK representative VO "Svoboda". He was convicted for a crime committed by his predecessor. Completely fabricated criminal case. Everything has been done to ensure that three years was the highest rated candidate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Poltava region. In the Kiev region are now city mayor elections Obukhov. Think about how absurd it is, in Kiev. Registered candidate VO "Svoboda" - absolutely rating a candidate who has a good chance to win. On the instructions of the relevant authority, which is the Party of Regions, the court filed appeal alleged lack of documents have already registered candidates. It turns out that "regionals" have stolen the folder with the documents and the court decided to withdraw the registration of candidates, despite the fact that the candidate has already been registered. Think about it, "Freedom" delivers the proposal to hold a mass protest, and the local court bans two weeks of local organizations to carry out the action "in connection with information about severe weather conditions." In Zhitomir elections are held, and the commission does not register 40 observers from the VO "Svoboda", - said O.TYAGNIBOK.

According to him, deputies from the VO "Svoboda" are subjected to political persecution.

"There is a group of Lviv of the 76 people that works on all opposition. Known to have a list of all the opposition, who have at least a minimal relationship to the business, to some charities, commercial structures. Ongoing testing of their children, their families, listening phones, is an external monitor deputies. I also want to warn all the deputies from the opposition, especially from the VO "Svoboda": You will perform against the provocation, you'll throw money and drugs, as was the KGB days. Some discredit the other will be put, will attempt to cause to quarrel. Talk in the office only in the presence of someone else. Do not go alone, tell the children, parents, that they are being watched, too, against them, too, will make a provocation "- said the leader of the VO" Svoboda ".
