The United States has prepared additional sanctions against Russia, but they won't be introduced before negotiations regarding Ukraine in Geneva on April 17, U.S. State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said. "Don't expect any before tomorrow's meetings. But if there are not steps taken by Russia to de-escalate, we will take additional steps, including additional sanctions," she said at a briefing on April 16.

the United States, the European Union, Russia, and Ukraine in Geneva
