U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk at the White House next week, Tony Blinken, Deputy National Security Adviser to President Barack Obama, said on Sunday.

“He [Obama] has invited the Ukrainian Prime Minister [Arseniy] Yatseniuk to come to the White House on Wednesday [March 12],” Blinken said in an interview with NBC.

Blinken said Obama had invited Yatseniuk “to further demonstrate the support.”

Yatseniuk said earlier on Sunday that he is going to visit the United States next week without mentioning an exact date.
