With 100 percent of the ballots counted, Serhiy Berezenko (Petro Poroshenko Bloc) wins with 35.90 percent of the vote in the July 26 by-election to the Verkhovna Rada in constituency No. 205 (Chernihiv), according to data published on the Central Election Commission's website on July 28.

His main rival Hennadiy Korban (UkrOP Ukrainian Association of Patriots Party) received 14.76 percent of the vote, the CEC said.

According to the commission’s data, independent candidate Volodymyr Zub got 8.18 percent of votes; Democratic Alliance Party representative Ihor Andriychenko – 7.97 percent; independent runner Mykola Zveryev – 7.54 percent; Svoboda candidate Andriy Mischenko – 6.97 percent; independent candidate Oleksiy Demyanenko – 5.45 percent; Civil Position Party member Oleksandr Melnyk – 3.40 percent; independent candidates Andriy Hlaba and Hennadiy Karban – 1.63 percent and 1.58 percent respectively.
