WOG Retail (the WOG filling station chain) does not plan to stop the operation of its filling stations in Crimea and the eastern part of Ukraine, the company's director general Serhiy Koretsky has told reporters.

“We’re at the final stage of finishing consultations with lawyers on how to systemize operations in the present situation,” he said.

Koretsky also said that in recent months the company had received several proposals to sell its filling stations in Crimea, but at present, WOG is not holding negotiations on their sale.

“Over one month we received several proposals to sell our filling stations. We have 21 stations there. We’re not holding any talks on their sale,” he said.

He said that the company does not have problems with fuel deliveries to their filling stations in Crimea.

Koretsky also said that the volume of sales of fuel by all market players on the peninsula has considerably fallen.
