Yanukovych denies Chornovol’s accusations
President Viktor Yanukovych's press service describes as "groundless" any accusations that the President had anything to do with the Dec. 25 beating of Tetyana Chornovol. The denial came on Jan. 8, a day after the journalist and opposition activist fingered him as a top suspect in the attack on her.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's press service called accusations that he ordered Tetyana Chornovol’s beating groundless and renewed the call for investigators to solve the Dec. 25 attack on the opposition activist and journalist.
