Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has dismissed Volodymyr Rokytsky from the post of first deputy head of Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) - Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime.

Yanukovych signed a relevant decree on July 5, according to the president’s Web site.

Rokytsky was appointed the first deputy head of the SBU in March
2010. He headed the SBU department in Zaporizhia region twice – from
April 2005 until December 2006 and from July 2009 until March 2010.

Rokytsky served as acting head of the SBU Rokytsky in January-February 2012, until Ihor Kalinin took over the post.
