Ukraine will continue to expand the production of its own energy resources, particularly shale gas, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has said.
“The world’s leading companies such as Shell [Royal Dutch Shell] have
already started work in Ukraine. We are expecting Chevron [Chevron
Corporation], ExxonMobil [Exxon Mobil Corporation] and others to join
them soon,” Yanukovych said at the sixth annual Global Investment
Symposium at the Harvard Club of New York City on Wednesday.
