You're reading: Yanukovych meets with presidents of Poland, Turkey and Azerbaijan in Chicago

Before a meeting of the North Atlantic Council in the format of contributor to NATO's Afghanistan operation, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych met with heads of state participating in the event.

Yanukovych spoke with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and President of Turkey Abdullah Gul on Monday, the Ukrainian president’s press service reported.

In addition, Yanukovych had a tête-à-tête meeting with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski in Chicago.

As reported, the NATO summit is taking place in Chicago on May 20-21.
