The two leaders held a private talk after which the White House issued a statement saying that Obama urged Yanukovych to hold democratic parliamentary elections on Oct. 28 and raised concern about selective prosecution of political opponents, including imprisoned ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
