Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has instructed Foreign Minister Konstantin Hryschenko to enhance economic diplomacy to promote Ukrainian goods on foreign markets.
"I gave Hryschenko an order to raise the level of economic diplomacy… At present, every diplomat abroad must understand, what he is responsible for - for the promotion of Ukrainian goods in the country where he works," Yanukovych said at a meeting of the Council of Regions in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The president also urged the Foreign Ministry and the Economics Ministry to analyze the activities of Ukrainian trade missions abroad.
