ODESA - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has promised to radically change the situation in pre-school education in the country.

He said this while opening nursery No. 195 in Odesa on Tuesday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent said.

“We will take the path of creating the necessary number of pre-school
facilities, we will provide them with the necessary equipment,
especially that for learning and health, and we will train their staff,”
Yanukovych said.

Nursery-kindergarten No. 195 in Odesa was renovated using private
funds. The City Council purchased furniture and equipment for the
kindergarten. The kindergarten is designed for 300 children. The
adjacent area has a pool and playgrounds.
