Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers should be improved.
"We should improve the structure of the Cabinet of Ministers, as today industry is suffering from a lack of attention. The situation should be corrected," he said at a meeting on support of the real sector of economy in Dnipropetrovsk on Tuesday.
The participants of the meeting applauded to the president's proposal.
In addition, the president issued a number of instructions, in particular on drawing up a program for the development of state policy until 2017.
The president also noted that a program for switching from burning natural gas to burning coal is being implemented in the country. Under the program it is planned to build the first five enterprises for coal gasification using a loan of $3.656 billion granted by the China Development Bank.
Yanukovych said the Cabinet of Ministers should decide in which regions such enterprises would be built as soon as possible.
