Maintaining stability in the country is among the most important subjects for Ukraine today, according to Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

“One of the main issues today is that of stability in the country. If
there is stability, the country will develop. If we follow the path of
populism and cheap politics, we’ll come to a dead end at best. We’ve
already had such examples,” he said during a meeting of local
authorities in Odesa region on Tuesday, Sept. 18, the presidential press service
reported.

Yanukovych says Ukraine will continue implementing reforms.

“We have no right to cease social reforms. We should continue raising social standards, wages,” he added.
