KHARKIV - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has promised to finance the construction of metro in Kyiv at the same level as the construction of a subway system in Kyiv.
"I have signed the order. Kharkiv will be funded at the same level as Kyiv. But we also have Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
Yanukovych also promised that Ukraine would adopt a state program for the construction and development of subway.
