Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Sevastopol on Tuesday, August 14, according to his press service.

The press service has not informed on the agenda of the visit in details.

Interfax-Ukraine learned from Sevastopol City State Administration on Monday that the head of state is to visit the construction site of a surgery building at Pirogov City Hospital No. 1 and hold a meeting with Sevastopol officials.

Deputy Chief of the hospital’s Surgery Department Volodymyr Afanasyev told Interfax-Ukraine about the new building.

“The wards are large and light, with high ceilings, each ward has a separate lavatory and a shower room. The building consists of three units, the surgery unit is on the fourth floor. There will be five elevators. Needs of people with disabilities have been taken into account everywhere, patients in wheelchairs will be able to enter any lavatory, any ward, and any floor,” Afanasyev said.

According to the constructor, building and assembly works cost UAH 41 million, and the overall cost of the building with medical equipment is UAH 66 million.
