Sochi (Bocharov Ruchei) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said he is hoping Russia and Ukraine will change the nature of their relations in the gas sphere.

"Maybe there will be some time to speak about gas. We believe this issue will never leave our relations and will always be sensitive. We would like to somewhat change our positions in our relations with Russia," Yanukovych said while meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Putin's residence Bocharov Ruchei on Saturday.
