Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk is backing Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who thinks that it is necessary to change chiefs of military agencies immediately, the Ukrainian government press office said.

“I support the stance of the Ukrainian president regarding the immediate change of the chiefs of defense agencies… The time has come to make serious and radical decisions, including on staffing,” Yatsenyuk said while visiting on Sept. 1 a regional hospital in Dnipropetrovsk, where participants of the forceful operation being held by Kyiv in south-eastern Ukraine are treated.

Poroshenko said earlier that following the analysis of events of the past week in the military action zone, personnel decisions would be made.
