Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Crimea was, is and will be an integral part of Ukraine, and any referendum on separation from Ukraine has no legal grounds.

“This is an illegal decision, and the so-called referendum has no
legal grounds. I called on the Russian government not to support those
who are calling for separatism. Crimea was, is and will be an integral
part of Ukraine,” he said at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday
after the EU summit on Ukraine.
