Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said he hopes that the OSCE will support the roadmap to resolve the Ukrainian crisis proposed by Kyiv. "Before the trip of the foreign minister of Switzerland in Moscow, the Ukrainian minister handed him our roadmap, it is significantly different from what was stated in Moscow," Yatseniuk said at the end of the government meeting in Kharkiv on May 7.
“The main difference is that our goal is a real stabilization of the situation in Ukraine, which depends on only one factor – the position of the Russian Federation. If Russia withdraws its sabotage groups, terminates their support and funding, withdraws its troops, the situation in Ukraine will be stabilized. I believe that the “road map” which was drafted by Ukraine will be the basis of the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis,” he stressed.
As reported, Swiss President and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Didier Burkhalter said after meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that the OSCE would like to propose a roadmap outlining specific steps to resolve the crisis to the four signatories of the Geneva agreements in the next few hours.
