Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Kyiv is ready to sign an Association Agreement with the European Union as soon as possible, an Interfax-Ukraine reporter has said.

Yatseniuk made such a statement at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday after the EU summit on the events in Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian government is committed to signing the Association
Agreement, and we are ready to sign it as soon as possible,” he said.

In addition, he expressed gratitude to the EU for the decision to allocate a financial aid package to Ukraine.
