Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has assumed that wages and pensions in the country this year could be indexed if the government's plans to stabilize the economy are not disrupted by Russian escalation.

“If the economy is stabilizing gradually as we foresee in the plan and if Putin does not disrupt our political and economic reforms by war and Russian escalation, I think that this year we’ll index population income: we’ll slightly increase pensions and wages. But we should earn some money first,” the premier said, opening a cabinet meeting on March 4.
