Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk expects the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to adopt the law on the national police as soon as possible.

“There’s a bill, and all is fine with it. I hope the bill will be adopted by the parliament in the first reading at the upcoming plenary week. Ukraine needs the law on national police,” he said during his speech in the National Academy of Internal Affairs in Kyiv on May 5.

The Verkhovna Rada will hold plenary sittings through May 12-15.
