Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said the anti-crisis energy headquarters will meet on Aug. 3 due to the situation in the energy sector.

“The situation in the energy sector is catastrophic. I will hold an anti-crisis energy headquarters [meeting] on Monday,” Yatsenyuk said during a meeting between government officials and the heads of the administrations of the eastern and southern oblasts in Kharkiv on July 31.

Yatsenyuk said the energy sector is in crisis and the relevant ministry and the relevant state companies are not ready to supply heating and electrical power to the country.
