You're reading: Young people show Yanukovych ‘red card’

About 30 people held a protest outside the building of the presidential administration on Bankova Street in Kyiv on Monday.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that among the protesters are young people representing the youth organizations of the Front for Change and Batkivschyna parties.

However, they are not holding anything marking their affiliation with a certain political party.

The young people are holding posters reading "They are Building Mezhyhirya instead of Affordable Housing for Young People," "Complete Ukrainophobia Instead of High-Quality Education," "He Is Financing ‘Tushky’ (MPs allegedly bribed to switch faction) Instead of Raising Student Scholarship."

The young people are also holding the red cards symbolizing their assessment of Yanukovych’s activities as president for two years.
