Would`nt it make more sense just to have these markets in various places held on a weekly basis, in UK we have car boot sales, these are no different to other markets that are held around Europe. As a regular visitor to Kiev I just love to wander around these kinds of markets, and its a great way of attracting toursits to spend money, so why not let these people make a living to feed their familes, by holding these kind of markets
A good idea!! But truly saying I doubt that officials will make smth to correct this problem. I live near Kurenivka and know that all those salesmen just irritate the inhabitants serounding buildings.. but as to me I find many original and authentic things among that rabble to see:-)
