Beef claims that it sold 60,000 steaks in 2012 alone, which would be the largest number of steaks sold in Ukraine in a single year, thereby cementing its reputation. This success was acknowledged with a Salt restaurant award for Best Meat Restaurant of Ukraine in 2013. The restaurant orders its beef steaks from Creekstone Farm in the U.S., although the poultry and lamb come from Ukrainian farms, as well as the meat for filet mignon, which costs Hr 520. The maximum price for a steak at Beef is a hearty Hr 1,500. Poultry and lamb dishes are sold at average prices, starting with Hr 80 for BBQ chicken wings with Dorblu cheese. Salads, desserts and fine wines are also available. Beef also holds mixology master classes at its bar 69.

Grill Do Brazil is the only restaurant in Kyiv that specializes in Brazilian steaks and meat dishes, and this includes the infamous tradition of rodizio (all you can eat). Getting access to this culinary extravaganza requires a Hr 249 deposit, which includes any meat dishes and the salad bar. As part of the service, a pair of chefs brings the steaks, sausages and other grilled meats on a skewer to the client’s table for a free and unfettered selection. A number of traditional Brazilian drinks are also on offer. According to Yulia Pryadko, a regular of Grill Do Brazil, their Caipirinha tastes like “the nectar of the gods.”
