There will be three Portuguese Liga sides in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals after FC Porto, SL Benfica and SC Braga all qualified following Thursday’s round of 16 second legs.

They will be joined by FC Dynamo Kyiv, FC Twente, Villarreal CF, PSV Eindhoven and FC Spartak Moskva for the last-eight.

The other quarterfinal fixtures will see Porto face Spartak Moskva, Benfica versus Hollands’ PSV, and Villarreal against Twente.

Led by lead goal scorer Andriy Yarmolenko, Dynamo had current manager Yuriy Syomin at the helm when it lost to Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2009 Europa League semi-final.

Dynamo is currently nine points behind first place Shakhtar in Ukraine’s Premiere League and six ahead of Kharkiv Metalist.
