You're reading: Music and what-not at Art Pole

If you feel like getting away for the weekend, this is a good destination to pick. Located in a picturesque village in western Ukraine, the festival gather those interested in folk music, art and other things Ukrainian.

Theater shows are expected, and the famous Ukrainian poet Serhiy Zhadan is preparing a performance, too. Master classes and movie sessions are also a part of the program.

The festivals’ special feature is visiting bands from the neighboring Poland, Hungary and Belarus, as well as one band, Transglobal Underground, from UK.

To get there, take a train to Ivano-Frankivsk or Ternopil, then a festival bus.
