Kyivska Rus Park will hold a beauty pageant on June 8. The beauty queen will be granted the Miss Kyivska Rus title.
Contestants will make stage appearances dressed in different attire including swimsuits and evening dresses. Also, they will get to show their skills in tug-of-war and javelin throwing. Historical knowledge of the medieval kingdom of Kyivan Rus is also required. The program will also feature spectacular theatrical performances, a horse theater show and a presentation of live thoroughbred horses.
Visitors will be able to take part in various activities, including horseback riding and archery, taste medieval cuisine, take photos in historical costumes and browse souvenirs at the crafts fair. For more information go to www.parkkyivrus.com.
