Kyiv Kustom Kulture

The Kustom Kulture (misspelling is intentional) is a neologism describing artworks, vehicles, hairstyles, and fashions of those building custom cars and motorcycles. The Kyiv festival is set to promote customizing vehicles to make them one of a kind. Customized cars, motorcycles and bikes will be displayed.

Jazz festival in Mariyinsky Park

This is a treat for those who missed Ukraine’s both big jazz festivals of the summer, Alfa Jazz Fest in Lviv and Koktebel Jazz in Odesa Oblast. Jazz and classical music will be played on the stage of the outdoor theater in Mariyinsky Park. The festival will include a performance of the unusual jazz manouche, or gypsy jazz.

DJ Christian Löffler

Electronic music lovers will be pleased to find out that German DJ Christian Löffler is coming to play a set in Kyiv. Löffler has been playing since 2008. His second album “Young Alaska” (2014) was much appreciated.

Gerard Way

Gerard Way, the front man of the cult pop-punk band of 2000s, My Chemical Romance, comes to Kyiv with a solo concert for the first time. Way has been performing solo since the band broke up in 2013.

Alloise

Singer Alla Moskovka, widely known as Alloise, was a frontwoman for the successful local band Gorchitza before starting a solo career in 2012. She performs pop, soul and R&B songs in English. She was named Best Ukrainian Act at the MTV European Music Awards in 2012.

‘Goodbye, Summer’ party

All those feeling sad about the summer ending are invited to celebrate one of its last days in Tsyferblat, a cozy pay-for-time venue in a courtyard on Volodymyrska Street. The hosts promise jazz music, cold drinks, and games.
