Street Food Festival

Dozens of street food vendors and rising young restaurateurs will offer their food at the Street Food Festival that will take place in 13th time. On the menu this time: Cuban sandwiches, corn dogs, bruschetta, Belgian waffle sandwiches, and more.

16+ Experimental Music Festival

Some 60 singers and bands will perform in the courtyard at Illinska Street in Kyiv center during a three-day 16+ Experimental Music Festival, where 16+ is not an age restriction, but a reference to the location. On the program: radical avant garde, progressive rock, urban funk, indie, punk noise, modern opera, and much more.

Ukrainian folk paintings

An exhibition of the modern Ukrainian artists working in the folk genre will take place in Kyiv, organized by the Art-Keller international art center. The ornamental floral paintings may seem simple, but in fact every element of such paintings was a sacral symbol for old-time Ukrainians. The exhibition is recommended for those who want to better understand Ukrainian art and culture.

‘Everyman’ theatrical recording

A theatrical recording of the modern reading of a 15th-century English morality play “Everyman” will be screened in Kyiv Cinema. The protagonist, Everyman, is successful and popular, so when death comes for him, he is reluctant to go. The play was recorded in the National Theatre in London. The screening is in English with Ukrainian subtitles.
