Ethno Festival


The first Ukrainian Ethno World Festival will gather 200 folk craftsmen from France, Greece, Belarus, Lithuania, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries. Guests will be offered an outdoor market, live music performances and various classes in arts and crafts, including basket weaving, glass painting, pottery, paper cutting, weaving, Greek dancing and more.

Sculptures exhibition


Twelve cow sculptures are exhibited in the outlet mall Manufactura. The show is dedicated to Netherlands, and the real-size cows are colored in symbols of the Dutch provinces.

Museum Day

Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko Museum of Arts will have a free Museum Day full of special entertainments. The full program is yet to be announced, but it is already to know that it will include a demonstration of historical dances, and a magic performance by an illusionist.

Street Music Day

For the second time this spring Kyiv holds free music shows in museums, parks, and streets near metro stations. Organizers of the Street Music Day keep the lineup secret to avoid overcrowding in the performance locations. One of the few band announced to participate is Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys from Lithuania.

Alloise

Alloise, also known as former Gorchitza front woman Alla Moskovka, is about to present its new “Merry-go-round” show for the first time. The show features the elements of jazz, funk and R’n’B.

Independence Film Festival

Annual American Independence Film Festival, launched by American Embassy in Ukraine in 2011, will show a mix of American feature and documentary films that highlight the diversity and values of the U.S., and demonstrate the power of independent thought. Movie soundtracks live show

Cantabile Orchestra will play soundtracks from the space-themed movies and TV series in the show called “Star Legends.” The lineup includes music from “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” “Doctor Who,” “Avatar,” “The Fifth Element” and other popular movies.
