Three Days in the Garden

Held for the second time in Kyiv, the festival promotes the green life in the big city. A three-day event will include various master-classes. The participants will be able to expand their healthy cooking skills, exchange their clothing for something new, learn how to hand-made jewelry, enjoy the music entertainment. Short Film Festival

New Vision International Short Film Festival will screen movies shown at the most recognized movie festivals, including winners of the Cannes International Festival, Berlin International Festival and Oscar nominees. The four-day program will include movies from Germany, Serbia, Spain, Britain and many more. The shorts are screened in the original language with English and Ukrainian subtitles.

Shakespeare’s Globe

In honor of the 450th birthday of William Shakespeare, one of the Britain’s most outstanding theaters is coming to Kyiv. As part of their tour that includes 250 countries around the world, the theater will showcase Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” Written in the 1600s the play is considered to be one of the most famous and recognized works in the world.

Dog Day

Kyiv’s dog shelter Happy Paw is inviting to join its third spring Dog Day. The one-day event will include various master classes and fun games, a lottery and a chance to play with the dogs. One will be able to donate money to the shelter by purchasing the lottery tickets. Food and toys for the dogs will also be acceptable as donations.

International Step Dance

In the celebration of international Step Dance Day the Ukrainian step dance group Jazz-Step-Tants-Klass is putting on a performance. The dance group was founded by Volodymyr Shpudeyko, Ukrainian step choreographer, dancer, actor and member of the International Step Dance Association.
