Paintings created in the 1970s during the Soviet epoch of suppression of dissent in art and science and during Mykhail Gorbachev’s period of political and social reforms, including a photo and video show featuring major political and social events of that time will be displayed in Mystetsky Arsenal from Feb.14.  

The works of Tetyana Yablonska, Viktor Ryzhykh, Galyna Neledva, Oleksandr Roitburd, Oleg Zhyvotkov will feature among paintings, sculptures and graphics displayed at the exhibition. Some will go on sale.

Held since 2009, this annual art fair remains one of the biggest art projects featuring prominent Ukrainian artists.
