The end of French Spring festival in Kyiv marks the beginning of A Week Of Austrian Movies, which kicks off on April 12.
Moviegoers will be able to enjoy four dramas and one comedy, all screening in German with Ukrainian subtitles.
You will (once again) get a chance to be carried back to the time of Nazi Germany, where Solomon, a talented counterfeiter, ends up in a concentration camp and receives an unexpected offer.
You will meet an unsociable 19-year-old Roman, who works in the morgue, and plunge into the life of Viennese Bohemia.
Finally, you will find out why someone needed to hide a grandmother’s death, and what children from the church choir have to do with crime in the neighborhood.
The Week of the Austrian Movies. Kyiv. April 12-18.
