Kyiv hosted a festival of new British movies from Nov. 10-16.

The films in the festival’s collection include a story about teenage love and maturing “Submarine,” an apocalyptic drama “Perfect Sense” starring Eva Green and Evan McGregor, the comedy “Hysteria” about the invention of the vibrator, thriller “The Guard,” and drama “We need to talk about Kevin.”

Prominent British movie critic Hannah McGill visited and shared her vision about the current state of the film industry.

The New British Film Festival will also take place place in Kharkiv, Odessa, Lviv, Donetsk nd Dnipropetrovsk.
