Such clubs were home to a good-looking and talented jazzman Chico, an ambitious musician and hopeless womanizer.

His life changed completely though, when he met Rita, a beautiful singer with an unforgettable voice.
This is an animated love story of Bebo Valdes, who rocked the Cuban jazz scene in the 1940s.

When Nelson asked his girlfriend Marcela to move with him to Madrid from Bolivia, he promises her they will run a flower shop of their own together.

What they really end up doing is selling flowers reclaimed from dumps, after washing and refrigerating them, and spraying with a perfume.

When the fridge breaks, Marcela finally realizes she needs to find a real job and agrees to become a nurse for an old man called Amador, who hardly ever leaves his bed and whose only fun is making giant jigsaw puzzles.
