He is 41, she was in her 30s. They were on their way home from a party at dawn with friends on Sept. 28, a bit too drunk maybe, and he said they “just couldn’t overcome their natural passion,” so they decided to stop for some sex right there, on the railway they were passing by.
The couple
having sex under the parked locomotive got run over by a train that suddenly
took off from Zaporizhzhya-1 train station in Ukraine’s southeast, early in the
morning on Sept. 28. The woman died right away, while her lover
lost his legs below the knee and was delivered to the hospital in a state of
shock and soon fell into a coma. Their names have not been released while the
police investigation continues.
The moral
of the story seems obvious – don’t engage in unsafe sex, particularly sex on
the railways. The woman is on the Kyiv Post’s “most awkward death” list.
A long list
of people from all over the world has given up their lives for a moment of
pleasure.
Classic
In early
spring 2010, a man and a woman died having sex in their car parked in a closed garage
in Moscow. “Most likely they turned on
the engine to warm up and got asphyxiated by carbon monoxide,” police sources
told Interfax. Sad, stupid but still a
classic kind of deadly sex. Google it and you’ll find at least a dozen more
cases with the same scenario.
Heartbroken
A chief
medical officer from a hospital in western Ukraine, Truskavets, just couldn’t
resist his nurse’s charm any longer. The couple stopped for the call of passion
in the woods on the Lviv-Truskavets road and had sex right there in the
doctor’s car. But doctor’s broken heart stood in the way — literally a broken
heart. The passionate doctor had heart disease.
When the woman noticed her lover felt bad, she ran to the road and started
stopping cars and calling for help. A passing ambulance stopped, but the doctor
couldn’t be saved.
This is also a popular way to die – especially
if one is an aging lover.
Careless
In Russia, a
man accidently killed his wife during sex.
Their passion might have gone out of control and he broke her neck. The woman
died of suffocation.
Beware of your partner
A
35-year-old man died in Sweden while having sex with … a hornet’s nest. A body was found by the man’s neighbor, who
says he recognized him only by the tattoo on his neck. The unlucky hornets’ lover died from 146
bites, 54 on his penis alone. Doctors assumed the man was trying to get sexual
pleasure from having sex with the nest, when found his sperm on the dead
hornets.
