Excellent service and exclusive offers at elite fitness clubs might be the best motivation for working out this winter. Kyiv Post reviewed five of the top Kyiv business class fitness centers.

5th Element is a premium class sports club located close to the city center on Rybalskiy Peninsula near the Podil neighborhood. The club’s clients are provided with free laundry, checkrooms, personal change rooms for VIP clients, and a luxurious spa salon. The staff has English-speaking trainers. The club offers wellness consultants and nutritionist services as well.
This year the club introduced some new services, including aerobics classes, yoga for children and special fitness programs for weight loss.
5th Element offers a special changing room for parents with kids, although it is accessible only through the women’s changing room. Professional baby-sitters are on hand to help parents out.
While clients are working out, swimming or relaxing in one of the lounge zones or restaurants, the club’s car valet service can send vehicles out to be washed or brought to the club’s entrance on demand.

The new luxury fitness center Tsarsky in the Pechersk neighborhood offers costly and exclusive pleasures.
Tsarsky is equipped with the latest generation of TechnoGym exercise machines. Its aqua lounge zone includes a hot tub and 25-meter pool. One of the center’s restaurants is styled to look like a tropical island.
Among other services is a snow room, bathhouse with panoramic windows, low oxygen chamber that imitates thin mountain air, and energetic capsules that restore the nervous system. The center offers an impressive list of spa services. Tsarsky provides a variety of physical and creative activities for children, from newborns to teenagers. Adult, children and family club membership cards are on offer.

Located in the very heart of Kyiv, the club offers three types of membership. The most expensive, Royal membership card comes with 12 workouts with a personal trainer, free laundry services and 10 sessions of sports massage. Members have access to a Finnish sauna and Roman steam room. Grand Prix offers a monthly squash game subscription that costs Hr 3,000 and up. Its clientele is provided with wide range of spa services as well as a solarium, spacious room for cycling, laundry and children’s room.
Wellness programs and special fitness equipment for disabled people are the club’s specialties.

Besides a well-equipped gym area, visitors of Leonardo fitness center are offered various spa treatments and beauty services.
“The salt cave is the peculiarity of our fitness center,” says Alina Tereshchenko, Leonardo’s PR manager. “It stimulates the immune system and speeds up metabolism.”
Contrast showers that quickly change water temperature and hydrotherapy bathrooms are very popular among Leonardo’s clientele, according to Tereshchenko. The club has its own guarded parking. All the instructors in Leonardo speak English.

Sport Life is Ukraine’s largest fitness chain and has 37 clubs throughout the country. The branch in Kyiv’s Pechersk district is one of the chain’s two luxury level clubs. Located in the Triumph residential complex, the club offers an aqua zone of adult and children pools, hot tub and an aqua bar.
Fitness activities for children from one to 14 years old are offered, as well as a kids club.
