Hugo Capablanca is one of the most demanded Berliner deejays of present day. He was the resident DJ of the legendary Rio Club Berlin until it closed, and managed, in two years, to play every single hip club in the city only and later around the world, sharing deejay booth with the most exciting artists of the moment and some everlasting legends like Arthur Baker, Justice, Headman, Rub'n'Tug, MSTRKRFT, Klaxons, Joakim, WhoMadeWho and others.  His DJ sets are always different and quite unpredictable. Capablanca plays a tastefully eclectic combination of various styles and somewhat vintage sounds. His first release “Jungle” already charted top selling positions and gained international acclaim being massively supported by key figures like Optimo and Traxx. Cosmic Dub and Tropicalia. Capablanca's records easily stand out, featuring a mixture of psychedelic sounds, electro-disco, Chicago house, punk-funk, futuristic dub and many more fashionable music styles, all wrapped up with a Teutonic twist.
