Russian military troops are prepared for a military incursion, with at least 40,000 soldiers gathered on Ukraine’s eastern borders.
Western leaders and NATO said the deployment is a sign that Russian
President Vladimir Putin is still considering an invasion of Ukraine’s
mainland fresh after his conquest of the Crimean peninsula.
