Another International Monetary Fund mission has left Ukraine as the nation’s economy continues to be hit by war, recession, devaluation, deficit spending and lack of investment, prompting some to forecast a gross domestic product of as little as $135 billion this year.

Emerging markets analyst Timothy Ash says Ukraine may need an additional
$13 billion in IMF loans, on top of a two-year, $17 billion program, to
avoid collapse.
