When National Bank of Ukraine head Valeria Gontareva tried to give an update to parliament on March 6, her speech was interrupted by Radial Party leader Oleh Lyashko and his fellow lawmakers shouting “Shame!” and blaming Gontareva for the hryvnia’s devaluation.
When one of the lawmakers noted his rudeness to a woman, Lyashko argued that Gontareva“ is not a woman.”
