German Chancellor Angela Merkel once again criticized Russia for invading and annexing Crimea at a joint news conference with President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on May 10.
However, the Kremlin’s official transcript of the event softened her
words, and omitted the word “criminal” that Merkel used to characterize
the annexation.
